PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Just in time for summer, the 14th edition of a guide for travelers with pets is out.

The book is called “Traveling with Your Pet: The AAA Pet Book.”

Jenny Robinson, a spokeswoman for AAA Mid Atlantic in Philadelphia, says the book lists 14,000 places to lodge with your pet in the United States and Canada as well as plenty more useful information.

“And you’ll get information such as whether there are fees, sizes of pets allowed, any other conditions, and amenities for pets. There are also listings of 600 pet friendly campgrounds. Also, dog parks and useful tips for preparing your pets for travel. Things like insurance and emergency animal clinics.”

AAA also reminds pet owners to restrain your pet while driving.
