Child Killed In Hit-Run Accident In Berks County
READING, Pa. (CBS) - A child was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Berks County Thursday evening, according to police.
The accident happened a little before 7 p.m. in the 1000 block of Cotton Street in Reading. The child was transported to Reading Hospital and later died. There is no word on the identity of the child at this time.
Police are searching for the driver. They say a rusty-colored pickup truck was seen fleeing the scene of the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
