PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred early Saturday morning in the Tacony section of Philadelphia.
Five men entered the house, located on the 4800 block of Longshore Avenue, just after 4 a.m. Authorities say the intruders ordered the homeowner to get on the floor while they searched his house.
The victim was then reportedly hit in the head twice with one of the intruder’s guns. They then allegedly told the homeowner they would kill him if he moved.
Police say the intruders took various jewelry, the victim’s wallet, which contained his ID’s and credit cards, as well as an undetermined amount of money.
The intruders are all described by police as black men who were wearing dark clothes, hoodies and a mask during the incident.
The victim reportedly did not suffer any severe injuries.
