Fire Breaks Out At Berks County Apartment Complex For Seniors
DOUGLASSVILLE, Pa. (CBS) – A lightning strike may have been responsible for a fire that broke out at an apartment complex for seniors.
The fire started around 7:30 p.m. at the Amity Manor Apartments at 1131 Ben Franklin Highway West in Berks County. Residents were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
The fire was quickly put out, though the roof of the complex was damaged. No injuries have been reported.
