PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A 10-year-old was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital after being struck by a vehicle in North Philadelphia Monday afternoon.

The accident happened at about 3:30 p.m. near 28th Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue.

The unidentified victim reportedly had unstable vital signs.

The striking vehicle remained at the scene. Police are investigating.
