PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are searching for two suspects in the shooting death of a man early Wednesday morning.
The shooting happened at about 8 a.m. in the 500 block of Geneva Avenue in the city’s Olney section.
According to investigators, a male in his 20s was shot multiples times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say they are searching for two cars that fled the scene right after the shooting.
The first car is described as a green BMW with a New York license tag XPH0904 that was driven by a man in his 30s, who was wearing a green-striped shirt and blue jeans.
The second car is described as a Ford Taurus that was driven by a heavy-set male who was wearing a bright silver vest.
Investigators believe both cars are connected to the deadly shooting.
The motive was not immediately known. The deadly shooting remains under police investigation.
