PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A 92-year-old woman was found dead Sunday evening after a fire broke out in a home in the city’s Bridesburg neighborhood, according to authorities.
The fire happened a little after 6 p.m. in the 2800 block of Hedley Street. The elderly woman, whose identity has not yet been released, was found in the kitchen and pronounced dead at the scene at 6:50 p.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
