'I SEPTA Philly' Campaign Asks Riders What They Really Think

By Suzanne Monaghan

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Ever wanted to find out what fellow riders think of SEPTA? Now is your chance. And you can share your experiences as well, as part of their "I SEPTA Philly" campaign.

SEPTA wants you to take a trip, but this one is down memory lane. Now through September, riders are encouraged to share video messages of their favorite SEPTA memories.

"My first experience on SEPTA was with my dad," says one rider. "He used to take me on the El when I was a little girl and we would go all the way to the back of the train and I would act like I was driving it."

Spokesperson Heather Redfern says the videos are featured on their website ISEPTAPhilly.com.

"The goal, honestly, of the campaign is to make SEPTA a verb. I SEPTA to the ballpark, I SEPTA to the mall, I SEPTA to the restaurant."

She says it's also a way for SEPTA to get feedback and for riders to learn more about the mass transit system.

The best entries will be eligible to win prizes, including a trip to Las Vegas.
