PHILADELPHIA (AP) – Police say one man was killed and two others critically wounded in an overnight triple shooting in North Philadelphia.
Police say a 23-year-old man was shot two to three times in the chest and pronounced dead just before 2 a.m. Sunday at Temple University Hospital.
A police spokesman says a second man shot two or three times in the groin was trying to drive himself to the hospital but crashed his car. He was taken to the hospital and listed in critical condition. Police said they don’t know his name.
Another 19-year-old man shot in the left torso and also drove himself to Episcopal Hospital, where he was taken to Temple hospital and listed in critical condition.
Police said no arrests were immediately made and no weapons were recovered.
