Suspect Sought For Grabbing Women's Buttocks In Chinatown

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for a suspect in connection with the indecent assaults of two females that occurred just over an hour apart in the city's Chinatown neighborhood.

The first assault happened at about 4:55 p.m. on April 26th and the second assault happened at about 6:25 p.m.

In the first assault, the victim had just left the Chinatown Learning Center and was walking in the 1000 block of Spring Street when the suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks. The suspect then fled on foot.

In the second assault, the victim was walking north on 11th Street toward Vine Street when the suspect walked by her. The suspect then turned around and approached the victim from behind and grabbed her buttocks. He then ran away on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30-years-old, 5'8"-5'-9", with a thin build and medium complexion and was clean shaven. He was wearing a dark blue short-sleeved shirt with white designs and black sweatpants. Authorities say the suspect appears to be homeless.
