Dunkin' Donuts Employee Arrested For Allegedly Threatening To Kill Boss

SICKLERVILLE, N.J. (CBS) – An employee was arrested after investigators say he threatened to kill his boss with a knife inside a New Jersey donut shop this past weekend.

The incident happened at about 10:30 a.m. at the Dunkin' Donuts located in the 500 block of Berlin Cross Keys Road in Sicklerville.

According to investigators, the manager of the store told them he had just finished a counseling session about his work performance with employee Manjit R. Singh.

The manager says Singh became enraged and wanted to fight him. Investigators say Singh pulled a knife and threatened to kill the manager. Singh also knocked down containers of condiments as well as doughnuts.

The manager told police Singh ran out of the store after the manager told him that he was calling 911.

Officers located Singh at a nearby carwash and he was taken into custody. Police later found the knife that was used in the incident in a trash can outside a pharmacy Singh was in.

Singh was charged with Terroristic Threats, Weapons Offenses and Criminal Mischief. He is being held on $50,000 bail.
