UPPER CHICHESTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) – Police are investigating a police-involved car accident in Delaware County that sent one person to the hospital Sunday evening.

A vehicle and an Upper Chichester Police cruiser collided at Larkin Road and Chichester Avenue in Upper Chichester Township at about 7 p.m.

The officer did not sustain any injuries, but authorities say a person in the second vehicle was taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

It is not clear if weather or some other factor caused the accident.
