While Louie Oosthuizen’s albatross at the Masters was amazing and the Sunday drama was terrific, another reason I enjoyed the tournament so much last weekend was watching the swing of Bubba Watson.
In a world where most tour pros seek cookie cutter perfection in their golf swings, Bubba sticks out like a sore thumb … or a shining light, depending on your point of view.
What do golf teachers think of that swing? And when they watch Bubba perform, do they reflect on the their own teaching methods and what they’re trying to get their students to do? I put those questions to Philadelphia Cricket Club Director of Golf Jim Smith.
I have always known Jim to be an excellent communicator, and he again provided some keen insight into Bubba and what you can learn from that unique golf swing. Click here to hear that podcast at my new TeeItUpPhilly.com.
