Several Injured In Multi-Vehicle Crash In Delaware
NEWARK, Del. (CBS) - Several people were rushed to an area hospital Sunday afternoon after a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Delaware.
The accident happened at about 2 p.m. in Newark near Welsh Tract Road and involved as many as eight cars, according to authorities.
Several people were taken to Christiana Hospital with reported life-threatening injuries.
I-95 was closed for nearly two hours as a result of the crash.
It is not clear how the accident happened at this time. Police are investigating.
