Gas Prices At Highest Level Ever For This Time Of Year

By Mike Dougherty

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Triple-A says gas prices are at the highest level ever for this time of year.

Spring is just a few days away, and according to Jana Tidwell of Triple-A Mid-Atlantic, drivers have never paid this much at the pump to start the season.

“Our national average $3.84,” says Tidwell. “Here in the Philadelphia area, we’re at $3.79 a gallon. South Jersey — $3.61”

And analysts expect prices to keep climbing:

“Throughout the months of March and April, probably upwards of $4.00 a gallon,” says Tidwell.

On the bright side, she adds, just like last year, prices should peak in May, then slowly retreat as the summer progresses.

The highest gas prices ever were in 2008, under the Bush administration.
As long as big oil can control the supply and create the demand, it will never change. There is a glut in the supply of crude oil at this time, so closing refineries will continue to create the demand for the refined product here in the U.S.
No politician has the b@lls to call them at their game. So dig deep, it ain’t going to get better no matter who is President.

The “change” we have gotten from Mr. Obama is to have less change in our pockets and bank accounts. This trend is not likely to get any better as long as he and his cohorts continue to pander to those who are looking for a handout and promote misguided policies that will continue to put all of us deeper in debt..

I guess it’s still Bush’s fault. Over 3 years and all obama has done is make an “historic” mess of things.
