PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – As we spring into a new season, the annual Philly Spring Cleanup will hit a neighborhood near you, come April 14th.
At the kickoff event in McPherson Square Park in Kensington, rapper Tone Love set the tone, with his song, “Come Clean, Go Green.”
Janine Collazo lives across the street from the Kensington Park with her nine children:
“It makes it a safer and better place for the children to come out and play.”
Organizers want you to go to phillyspringcleanup.com for more info, to volunteer or submit a project for your neighborhood.
