Camden County House Fire Under Investigation, 3 Suffer From Smoke Inhalation
SICKLERVILLE, N.J. (CBS) - Three people were taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon after a fire swept through there South Jersey home.
At about 2 p.m., Winslow Township Police were called out to the unit block of Memphis Court in Sicklerville for a house fire. Upon arrival, officers found that the 2nd floor of the home was engulfed in flames. Residents from the home and surrounding homes were evacuated.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire a short time later, but three people were taken to Kennedy Hospital in Washington Township for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
