PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Firefighters are investigating a fatal fire in Camden.

Fire Chief Michael Harper says the fire started around 4:45 Saturday morning on the 600 block of Point Street inside a row home believed to have been occupied by squatters.

Officials say one person was found dead inside the home upon arrival. A second victim was taken to Cooper Hospital with burns.

One firefighter twisted his ankle while putting out flames but is okay.

The fire spread to two other homes and was placed under control around 5:30 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
