Female Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Delaware County

BROOMALL (CBS) – A pedestrian has been killed after being struck by a car near a Wawa in Broomall.

According to police, the crash occurred just after 6:45 p.m. Tuesday night in the 2000 block of South Sproul Road.

The unidentified female was rushed to Bryn Mawr Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

The car did not flee the accident and police continue to investigate.

The victim's identity has not been released.
