Yesterday’s storm system, which brought some heavy rain, is long gone and located up in the Canadian Maritimes right now. Behind it, we were left with strong gusty winds to near 50 mph today. Along with the wind, a jet stream disturbance triggered off a few bands of some heavier snow, which came through late this morning and early afternoon. The snow came down heavy and quick enough to reduce visibility and put down some minor accumulation. Any snow showers left around this evening will diminish quickly tonight. Here are some snow amounts:
Macungie, PA: 1.5”
Kutztown, PA: 1.5”
Emmaus, PA: 1.0”
Spring City, PA: 0.5”
Wayne, PA: 0.5”
Philadelphia, PA: Trace
Mt. Holly, NJ: Trace
