Elderly Man Struck And Killed By Car In East Falls

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A 77-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle in East Falls on Tuesday night.

The elderly man reportedly crossed into the intersection at School House Lane and Henry Avenue when a car that was turning left onto Henry Avenue struck him.

The victim was transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver did stop at the scene, and an investigation is pending.
