Police Investigating Fatal Shooting In Germantown

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened in the city’s Germantown section early Monday morning.

The shooting occurred at about 3 a.m. in the 5800 block of Baynton Street near E. Rittenhouse Street.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found an unidentified male shot twice in the chest. He was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

So far, no arrests have been made and a motive in the deadly shooting remains under police investigation.
