PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Rob Belcore tied a career-high with 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Pennsylvania beat Brown 65-48 on Saturday night.
Penn has won three straight against Brown.
The Quakers (12-10, 4-1 Ivy League) opened the game on an 8-0 run before Brown rallied back to take a 13-12 lead. But it was the last time the Bears would lead, as Penn used a 17-5 run to go ahead 30-17.
Belcore scored seven points during the run.
The 6-foot-6 guard was 7 of 10 from the field and 3 of 6 from 3-point range. His trey with 8:13 left in the second half gave the Quakers a 56-41 lead.
Penn shot 46 percent (26 of 46) from the field, compared to 38 percent (20 of 53) for the Bears, and scored 17 points off 15 Brown turnovers.
Andrew McCarthy led Brown (7-16, 1-5) with 20 points and 12 boards.
