Sixers Close Out Homestand With Big Heat Match-Up

By Matt Leon

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It's been a very successful homestand for the Sixers thus far and they'll look to end it on a high note on Friday night when they host the Miami Heat.

The Sixers are 5-1 so far on this seven game run at the Wells Fargo Center. Last time out, they notched probably their most impressive win of the season to this point as they spanked the Eastern Conference leading Bulls on Wednesday.

The Sixers and Heat have become quite familiar with each other. They met in the first-round of the playoffs last season with Miami advancing in five games. They met earlier this season down in Florida, and the Heat picked up a comfortable win in that game (113-92 on January 21st).

KYW's Matt Leon spoke with the television voice of Sixers basketball, Marc Zumoff of Comcast SportsNet, about the match-up and the Sixers fine 16-6 start to this abbreviated season.
