Camden Couty Community College, Volunteers Team Up To ‘Give Kids A Smile’

By Lynne Adkins

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ (CBS) – It should be a lot easier for children to flash a beautiful smile after a free dental event this Friday.

Give Kids a Smile is a free event at Camden County Community College’s Blackwood Campus. Co-coordinator Jean Corby says children 12 and under can get free dental services between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. from scores of volunteers.

“The students at our dental hygiene program, as well as the dental assisting students, faculty and staff as well as volunteers from the community will be participating and volunteering that day.”

Children can get preventive care, cleanings, x-rays, fillings, some restorative work and flouride treatment. Make an appointment at 856-227-7200 extension 4631.
