Fatal Juniata Car Accident Caused By Weather & Speeding

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A car accident in Juniata resulted in two people losing their lives early Saturday morning.

Around 2:15 a.m., two females, a 21-year-old and a 22-year-old, were driving near the 200 block of E. Hunting Park Avenue and Macalester Street when they were broadsided by two males in a green Chrysler.

The two females were pronounced dead at the scene.

Both of the males in the Chrysler were taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

Police say that the poor weather and speeding caused the accident. An investigation is underway and no charges have been filed.

Uh, okay, so how is this a big story, even if it is weather related? And where the devil is Juniata? Is it important for some reason? Unfortunately, weather related deaths including traffic ones are very common.

Yahoo, do a bit better screening of you “stories of interest”.

Predicted Or Not, Folks – The Weather Was Here BEFORE People And Their Speed-Demon “Machines”.
The Weather Doesn’t “Cause” Anything: It’s The Impatience, And Lack Of Consideration For Others
On The Road. Everyone’s In A Hurry; But What About Their “Hurry” When They Cause Or Get Involved
In A Crash??? And, As A Former Sheriff Deputy: “They ARE ‘Crashes’; NOT “Accidents”!! “Accidents”
Cannot Be Controlled (For The MOST Part0; But, “Crashes” CAN (Again, For The Most Part)!! Just SLOW Down, Have “Respect” For The Elements. Situations As Tonite, Most “AIM” As If It Were The Middle Of August, 90 Degrees, Bright Sunshine, Bare Pavement – DUH!
    P. S. At Least The “Trouble-Makers” Were Called “Males” And NOT
“MEN”! Just Over-Grown Male Animals!! :-(

Sad to say.. but sometimes people die because of their own careless mistakes
