2 Injured, Several Displaced After Fire Rips Through South Philadelphia Home

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Two people were injured late Thursday night after a fire tore through their South Philadelphia home.

Firefighters were called out to the 700 block of Wharton Street at about 11 p.m. Authorities say a man and a young girl were transported to Jefferson University Hospital where they are listed in stable condition.

The Red Cross says at least four families have been affected by the fire.

There is no word yet on how it started. Authorities are investigating.
