PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Pre-restaurant week demonstrations have been taking place at the Comcast Center, and it’s not too late to get a taste of the fun.
As a way to promote restaurant week here in Philadelphia, demonstrations are being held at the Comcast Center.
“Demonstrations are a great way to let people know that restaurant week is coming up,” says Kristin Linker with the Center City District. “It’s also a great way to introduce them to new restaurants, showcase our wonderful chefs that participate and give them a little taste of maybe some food they haven’t tried before.”
Next week on Tuesday and Thursday there will be two more demonstrations at the Comcast Center before Restaurant Week officially begins.
“The Farmer’s Cabinet’s going to be making a potato leek soup and Percy Street BBQ, I’m still waiting to find out, but I’m guessing we’ll be seeing some BBQing.”
You can make reservations, see menus, parking options and more by logging onto the Center City District’s website, http://www.centercityphily.org.
