2 Women Injured In Mt. Airy House Fire

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Two women suffered minor injuries during an early morning house fire in Philadelphia.

The fire broke out early Thursday morning inside a home in the 6600 block of McCallum Street in the city's Mount Airy section.

According to fire officials, two female residents suffered minor injuries from smoke inhalation. Seven other residents were safely evacuated.

The fire was brought under control in about 20 minutes. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
