Man Dies In Crash On I-95 In Delaware County

Philadelphia (CBS) – A 29-year-old man is dead following a multi-vehicle crash on I-95 in Delaware County.

It happened just before 6 a.m. when a car hit a tow truck that was stopped in the left lane of I-95 north. The car then went across the northbound lanes and was struck by another vehicle.

The driver of the first vehicle,29-year-old Mabe Soumahoro of Philadelphia, died at the scene.

A 15-year-old female from Upper Darby was also ejected from the vehicle but suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The female driver of the other vehicle, 51-year-old Saba Amsalu of Newark, Delaware is also recovering from non life-threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
