PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia 76ers held their "media day" today at PCOM, and the players say they are excited for the start of the season.
Many of the Sixers had a chance to work out together on the west coast during the lockout, and Jrue Holiday (below right) says that despite the detriments of the lockout, the time the Sixers had together will be a benefit when the season starts.
"I think it (the lockout) hurt everybody," Holiday told reporters, "but for us it kind of brought us closer together. Everybody went out to LA and practiced."
Holiday and the rest of the Sixers say continuity will be a key, with much of the roster intact from last season.
