PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Now that the NBA lockout is in the rearview mirror, teams can focus on the 2011-2012 season, which will consist of just 66 games because of time lost to the work stoppage.
For the Sixers, training camp starts today and runs through December 14th.
Philadelphia is coming off a solid 2010-11 campaign which saw them go 41-41. They advanced to the playoffs, where they lost to the eventual conference champion, the Miami Heat, in five games in the first round.
KYW Newsradio’s Matt Leon spoke with Sixers’ assistant coach Aaron McKie about getting back to work and his hopes for this group this season.
