76ers Put Single-Game Tickets On Sale At Bargain Prices

By Paul Kurtz

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It's another sign that the NBA season will soon begin.   Single-game tickets for the Philadelphia 76ers are now on sale.

The new owners are hoping to lure back the fan base by dropping prices. Tickets in the mezzanine level will be $17.76 each for all 13 home games in January, and there will no online sales fee if fans buy their tickets at sixers.com.

In addition, season ticket holders who paid more than $17.76 for mezzanine seats will be upgraded to seats in the lower level.

Fans can find bargains all over the arena.  End row seats are going for between $29 and $49.  The most expensive seats in the house are at center court, of course -- they'll cost between $129 and $149 each.

The Sixers play their first preseason home game on December 20th, against the Washington Wizards.  They open the season six days later in Portland, and play their first regular-season home game on January 6th, against the Detroit Pistons.
