PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Breaking Dawn broke through again.

The fourth of five films in the popular Twilight series made it three weekends in a row, taking first place yet again by earning an estimated $17-million.

On the traditionally slow weekend after Thanksgiving weekend, there were, as usual, no new mainstream attractions at multiplexes.

The Muppets claimed second place in its second weekend of release with an estimated $11-million.

And holdovers Hugo, Arthur Christmas, and Happy Feet Two rounded out the top five, each taking in between $6- and $8-million.

Industry-wide totals continue to trail those of last year by a modest three percent, with four weekends to go in the calendar year.
