PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Following several good tips from the public, the Pennsylvania SPCA identified the owner of the malnourished horse that was abandoned in the Hunting Park section of the city.

Clarizita Lopez-Fuentes, 23, of N. America Street in Philadelphia was charged with Animal Cruelty for failing to provide veterinary care for the horse.

On Wednesday, the horse was surrendered to the PSPCA, where it is continuing to receive veterinary care.

The SPCA says it has gotten several serious inquiries from individuals interested in adopting the horse and those requests are being reviewed to find the horse a good home.
