PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - On today’s APP-tastic and outta SITE — the Dragon Dictation app for iPhones or iPads, which lets you speak text or email messages into your smartphone mic and then turns it into words.

It’s not perfect but it can be several times faster than typing on a tiny keypad. Simply tap on the record button and begin dictating. It does need an internet connection to use the special software but works almost instantaneously.
