Authorities Investigating Home Invasion In Southwest Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are investigating a home invasion in the city’s Kingsessing neighborhood early Sunday morning.

The incident happened at about 1:45 a.m. in a home in the 1900 block of S. Ithan Street. According to authorities, the armed suspect, dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt and a ski mask, walked into the home and tried to force his way into a bedroom.

Police say the suspect quickly fled the home after the victim yelled to his girlfriend to bring his gun.

No injuries were reported and police say nothing was stolen from the home.

    Would’ve been more apportiate if the Suspect would’ve go a 12 gauge shell in the Stomach. Let’s see him run form the crime scene after that! It would’nt have been too hard to identify the suspect either.
