VILLANOVA, Pa. (CBS) – One night after Temple beat Penn, 73-67, in overtime at the Palestra (see related story), Villanova will host La Salle tonight in another Big 5 clash at the Pavilion.

Both teams won their season openers on Friday.  Villanova beat up Monmouth, 106-70, behind 27 points from junior Dominic Cheek.

The Explorers also opened at home, taking care of Lafayette, 79-53, thanks in large part to 17 points and six assists from sophomore Tyreek Duren.
