PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A car accident in North Philadelphia at Broad and Lehigh left one person critically injured.
Around 3 a.m. on Saturday morning, a car traveling southbound on Broad Street rear-ended another vehicle, causing that vehicle to swerve into the northbound lanes, where it struck a pole and flipped on its side.
The striking vehicle then fled the scene.
Two men in the rear-ended car, both in their 30s, were transported to Temple University Hospital by medics. One victim is listed in critical but stable condition, while the other received only minor scrapes and bruises.
There is no word on the striking vehicle.
