Public Viewing For Joe Frazier At Wells Fargo Center

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The public has a chance to pay final respects to Joe Frazier today and tomorrow. His body will lie in repose at the Wells Fargo Center.

There will be a solemn, reverential air at the Wells Fargo Center today, as a public viewing of the body of legendary boxer Joe Frazier is being held here. The hours are today from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The former heavyweight champion died Monday of liver cancer, at the age of 67.

His family, in a statement, said this public viewing is an opportunity for Frazier's many fans, supporters, and boxing lovers to pay their respects.

Reportedly, among those expected in Philadelphia to honor the life of Joe Frazier is Muhammad Ali, Frazier's most famous opponent in the ring.

The funeral for Frazier is Monday at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church, on Cheltenham Avenue.
