Man Stabbed During Attempted Robbery In Juniata

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A man is in stable condition after being stabbed in Northeast Philadelphia early Wednesday morning.

The stabbing happened at about 2:30 a.m. in the 3300 block of Rorer Street in the Juniata section of the city.

According to investigators, a 24-year-old man was stabbed once in the chest during an apparent attempted robbery. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

So far, no arrests have been made. The incident remains under police investigation.
