Bucks County Gaming Company Brings Retro Style To Facebook

LANGHORNE, Pa. (CBS) - A Bucks County-based computer game company is ready to take on Angry Birds and Farmville with a social network game to premier tomorrow.

RetroWorld aims to allow its target audience -- 40 years old and up -- access to a virtual playground modeled on the 60's and 70's. Gene Mauro, President and COO of Entertainment Games, says part of the package is on-going interactive storylines.

"So, for us, we're going to release new content every 30 to 45 days, so (we want to) get you on that regular schedule of wanting to tune into the next adventure story of your favorite show."

Mauro shows off some entry-level content, where you take the role of a junior secret agent trying to close in on a Russian spy:

"And just like any good adventure game I couldn't get past this particular gate, as it were, in this case the bellhop, unless I had the food.  I go upstairs now, to her room."

Retro World, with a free base level, pay for upgrades, can first be seen on Facebook.

"We launch on Tuesday, first iteration of the product and then we'll be following in up with variations with iOS and Android."

Retro World uses licensed photos stars as a way to let you interact with Dick Clark, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis.
