ATHENS, Oh. (CBS) – The Temple Owls are in Athens, Ohio to battle the Ohio University Bobcats tonight in a critical MAC matchup.
Both teams are 5-3 overall this season. While Temple is 3-2 in the MAC, Ohio is 2-2, a half game behind the Owls in the East Division.
Temple will be trying to bounce back from a frustrating defeat last time out. The Owls committed 12 penalties in a 13-10 loss to Bowling Green on October 22nd (see related story).
These two teams met at Lincoln Financial Field last season, the Bobcats getting out of town with a 31-23 win. Temple RB Matt Brown rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown in that defeat.
