Teen Stable After Southwest Philadelphia Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Southwest detectives are looking into what prompted the shooting of a 16-year-old boy in a neighborhood near the airport.

Police say the boy, who lived in the 25-hundred block of south 75th street, suffered a bullet graze-wound to his face shortly after 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening

The suspect is a man from the neighborhood between the ages of 18-20.

Police say the shooting was prompted by an arguement between the two, but it’s unclear what the arguement was about.

Detectives say the suspect was with a man — and the boy was with three or four friends.

The boy was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and is in stable condition.

So, is the suspect in custody? Or, is he still a suspect on the loose?…. With a gun.
