Teen Stable After Southwest Philadelphia Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Southwest detectives are looking into what prompted the shooting of a 16-year-old boy in a neighborhood near the airport.

Police say the boy, who lived in the 25-hundred block of south 75th street, suffered a bullet graze-wound to his face shortly after 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening

The suspect is a man from the neighborhood between the ages of 18-20.

Police say the shooting was prompted by an arguement between the two, but it's unclear what the arguement was about.

Detectives say the suspect was with a man -- and the boy was with three or four friends.

The boy was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and is in stable condition.
