Hockey: Flyers Recall Schenn from AHL's Phantoms

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Flyers sit at 4-0-1 after last night's easy 7-2 win in Ottawa (see related story).

Next up is a matchup with the undefeated Washington Capitals, tomorrow night at the Wells Fargo Center.

And it looks like the Flyers will have a new, and highly anticipated, name in the lineup for the Caps game, as today the Flyers announced that forward Brayden Schenn has been recalled from the AHL's Phantoms.

Schenn, 20, was acquired this past offseason from the Los Angeles Kings in the Mike Richards trade, and he has dominated in his four games in the AHL this season.

He has tallied eight points in those four games for Adirondack (four goals, four assists).

The Flyers also announced that they have loaned forwards Zac Rinaldo and Harry Zolnierczyk to the Phantoms.  In addition, forward Jody Shelley's five-game NHL suspension is now up.
