Woman Shot, Robbed Outside Lehigh County Sam's Club Location

WHITEHALL Twp., Pa. (CBS) -- Police in Lehigh County are asking for the public's help in locating two men responsible for the shooting and robbery of a woman, Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area near the entrance of the former Sam's Club store off Schadt Avenue in Whitehall Township just after 12:30 p.m.

Police officers arriving on scene found a woman who had been shot and robbed of her purse. The woman was transported to the hospital and underwent surgery.

The two male suspects involved in this incident were captured on video from a nearby store and accurate descriptions are unknown at this time.

They are considered armed and dangerous.
