Multi-Alarm House Fire In Trenton Damages Neighboring Homes, Injures 3 Firefighters

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – It took firefighters in Trenton nearly two hours to bring a multi-alarm row house fire under control in the 300 block of Gennesee Street.

The fire, which broke out just before 7 p.m., was in an unoccupied two-story row house.

Investigators believe the fire was triggered by a repairman doing soldering work on some pipes.

Several neighboring homes sustained heat and water damage.

Three firefighters had to be treated for heat exhaustion. All were released.
