Chester Heights Campground Fire Damages Church

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A multi-alarm fire broke out at a campground in Delaware County.

The campground fire in Chester Heights broke out around 4:00 a.m. in a building housing an unoccupied camp church, according to state police. The fire scene was near Second Avenue and Smith Bridge Road.

No injuries are being reported. Local detours are in place. A state police spokeswoman at the Media barracks had no other information on the extent of the fire or the cause.
