PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - After picking up a pair of impressive road victories (in Boston and New Jersey) to open the season, the Flyers will play their home opener tonight, welcoming the defending Western Conference champion Vancouver Canucks to the Wells Fargo Center.
Vancouver comes to town with a win over Columbus and a shootout loss to Pittsburgh under its belt. They are led by forwards Daniel and Henrik Sedin, who have combined for a goal and five assists so far in the early season.
KYW’s Matt Leon spoke with Dave Isaac, who covers the Flyers for PhillySportsDaily.com, about the match-up and what he has seen out of the Flyers so far.
