Philadelphia Bars Eyeing A Super Happy Hour For Start of Phillies' Game 3

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - This evening's playoff game between the Phillies and the Cardinals is likely to draw big crowds at area bars.

The first pitch is scheduled for 5:07pm, just as most people are getting out of work (see related stories).   So the dilemma is,  should I go home or catch the early part of the game and take advantage of happy hour?

Tavern owners and managers expect a lot of people to hang around.

"It's probably going to be a little busy in here, but it's going to be all good," says Chris Ineson, manager of the Wishing Well, in the Bella Vista section of Philadelphia.  He's offering a number of Phillies' playoff specials:

"Three dollar Kenzinger and Sunshine Pilsner drafts. And then dollar-fifty oysters and 75-cent wings."

There are deals to be had all over town.

Irish Pol, in the Old City neighborhood, offers two-dollar lagers and dollar hot dogs during the game.

In center city, Tom Kreiger is manager of Lucky Strike Bowling Lanes:

"Two-dollar draft beers. We have four-dollar house drinks, Five-dollar you-call-it shots, and then we have half off select appetizers."

The Piazza at Schmidt's has barbecue and food vendors set up, along with contests and giveaways.
